I’ve never been very good with technology. If that is what this is....it’s hearing my voice.

[she seems intrigued by it; that’s what you get when you come from a fantasy world.]

Has this a purpose? Not everything in this existence does. And some things lose theirs come time and…circumstance. I know this well.

[her tone shifts, just slightly. A little louder, more aware. Ready.]

Of course, it would also be interesting to know where I have been taken, and for what purpose. I am not a fan of being caught unawares. A bad history with it, you see.

... Weird that two people who already know people here have turned up... Then again the Prof and I both- never mind.

Apparently we've been 'kidnapped' by some omnipresent beings called 'the Fair folk', for the simple reason 'we were interesting to them'.
